Product Introduction

  • FCN01 is a polymer-based nanocomposite innovated by the Material Research team of KMD Plastifizierungstechnik GmbH. FCN01 triggers the transformation of polymer long chains through temperature change, which in turn causes polymer fiber's crimping. FCN01 also adopts nanocomposite electret technology, which exhibits excellent charge storage and retention function.

Technical Data of Fiber Crimping Nanomaterial

Advantages:

  • The addition of FCN01 generates a 3D crimping effect on Meltblown nonwoven fibers, ultimately resulting in a significant increase in fabric fluffiness, air permeability and dust holding capacity, with an average pressure differential reduction of 22.6%.
  • While electret the nonwoven fabric, the charge density on the fiber surface is increased, which significantly increasing the charge trapping/storage capacity of the fibers.
  • Sustain the electric charges of PP fibers permanently.
  • Prevent the electric charges of PP fibers from being affected by external factors.

Applications:

  • Suitable to products made of PP materials. Mainly for the manufacture of PP meltblown nonwovens.
  •  Adding before spinning. The parameters of the spinning process can be adjusted accordingly to the application.
  •  Please refer to the following table for the addition amount.
